Anthony "Tony" Herod, Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Canvas of Hope Foundation, draws from his own life experiences to lead with compassion and insight. Dr. Marlene Holmes joins the Canvas of Hope Foundation as the Director of Educational and Wellness Initiatives, bringing extensive expertise in behavioral health and mental health. With a doctorate in social work and a proven track record as a Behavioral Health and Mental Health Director, Dr. Holmes will lead our educational and wellness programs remotely from Dallas.

Her experience in mental health and program development will play a crucial role in enhancing our support services and curricula. Dr. Holmes is dedicated to advancing our mission of reducing recidivism and empowering youth, ensuring our initiatives are effective and responsive to the needs of those we serve.

As the Compliance and Administrative Coordinator at the Canvas of Hope Foundation, Sunni Codrington supports the financial oversight and compliance efforts led by Connie Ticeson, Secretary and Treasurer of the Board. Sunni brings a strong foundation in regulatory standards and nonprofit operations, ensuring that the organization adheres to essential guidelines and best practices. Her role is critical in maintaining transparency, supporting effective initiatives, and upholding ethical standards that contribute to the foundation's overall integrity and success.

Jahmar Ticeson

Chief Digital Strategy, Creative Marketing & Grant Development Director

Jahmar oversees the digital and creative infrastructure of the Canvas of Hope Foundation, including technology support, marketing strategy, digital communications, and visual branding. He leads creative media production such as flyers, program materials, and digital assets, ensuring cohesive representation across all public-facing platforms.

He contributes to fundraising and expansion by assisting with grant development, outreach messaging, and organizational visibility. His flexibility and multi-department support allow him to step in wherever needed to strengthen operations, promote community presence, and help scale the mission forward.
